Nice quality but needs a few improvements

I love first base mitts and heard good things about JL Glove Co. So I figured let me give them a try. Here are my initial observations.
Good- leather is pretty nice, stitching is some of the cleanest I have seen on a mitt. Straight and not wonky and cleanly done around the binding.

Bad- Heel padding is not flush with the inside Palm area and sticks up and just doesn’t look right like the other big glove company’s. Also to me the worst part of the glove is the ring slot for your finger is very tight and rubs against the pinky loop which is very uncomfortable almost painful. Hopefully it gets much better as the mitt breaks in. I feel if they make the few modifications to the mitt this could be a really excellent mitt. For a newer glove company hopefully they keep at it to try to perfect a pretty nice piece of leather which has a chance to rival a lot of the other up and coming glove company’s.
